When you submit a pledge, we collect only the minimum information necessary:
- Your US zip code (used to place your pledge on the map by state — no exact location is stored)
- Your IP address (used solely for rate limiting to prevent fake or automated submissions)
We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifying information when you take the pledge. Donations are processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy.
HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
- Your zip code is used to attribute your pledge to a state on the movement map (by state only, never by exact location)
- Your IP address is used only for rate limiting and is not shared or sold
- Aggregate pledge counts and state-level data are displayed publicly on the site

- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not share your personal information with advertisers
- We do not collect or store your name or email address when you take the pledge
- We do not store precise location data — only state-level information derived from your zip code
COOKIES
This site uses minimal cookies necessary for basic functionality. We use analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are most popular. We do not use advertising cookies.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may request deletion of your pledge data at any time by contacting us through the social channels listed on the About page. We will remove your record within 30 days.
